Analysis of the Structural Polypeptides of Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus From Buzura suppressaria Guenee
Abstract: The structural polypeptides of Buzura suppressaria Guenee nuclear polyhedrosis virus was studied by vertical slab polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results revealed that the polyhedrin—the only major polypeptide with molecular weight of 31×10~3±1000d and the virus particle had at least 23 bands with molecular weight ranging from 13 to 107×10~3d. Glycoproteins of polyhedrin and virus particle were absent by PAS staining detection.
