    • A method has been developed to purify HFRS virus structural protein. HFRS virus was first purified roughly by protamine sulfate and polyethylene glycol precipitation from brain tissue of suckling mice infected with HFRS virus strain 76-118 or strain Chen, and the roughly purified virus was then passed to immunoadsorbent column prepared by Sepharose 4B coupled with McAb against HFRS virus.
