Cell Fusion by Epidemic Hemorrhagic Fever Virus
Abstract: The results of our experimental research indicated that epidemic hemorrhagic feve virus (EHFV) couses cell to cell fusion under acidic conditions. Maximum fusions was obtained at pH5.0—6.0. The EHFV-infeeted cell was covered with medium overlaid by methylcellulose and thenthe cell culture developed the fusion foci.
