    • This paper reports the results of detecting viruses in the raw water at the inlet of water plant and in the output tap water by modified Farrha′s Method. The amount of viruses in the raw water reaches 4-50 pfu/10L in different seasons. Most of the viruses are enteroviruses, mainly polio viruses. Test of ret/40 shows that 3 strains might be of wild type,whereas the others are not.Since no virus has been found in 40L of tap water, the virus standard in drinking water(no virus in 10L of samples),designed by WH...
