    • During 1986—1989, 111 isolates of cucumber mosaic virus were obtained from tomato fields in Shandong province According to the host ranges and symptoms on different hosts, three pathogen strains of CMV were established as tomato fern leaf strain(CMV-ToF), tomato mosaic strain(CMV-ToM) and tomato latent(light mosaic) strain(CMV-ToL). There were some difference not only in bio-charaeteristics, but also in electrophoretic mobility and morphology of purified virus particle, molecular weight of capsid polypeptid...
