A Rapid Detection of Human Papillomavirus 6, 11 DNA in Condyloma Acuminatum

  • The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was applied to identify the human papillomavirus (HPV) 6 and 11 DNA in the spcimens from 30 patients with condyloma acuminatum. The positive percentage of HPV6, HPV11 DNA was 60%, 90%, respectively. 53.3% samples showed the presence of both HPV6 and HPV11 DNA. The total positive percentage was 96.7%.
