STUDY OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING PLAQUE FORMATION BY HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS
Abstract: In the present study we have first identified the factors regulating the formation of plaques by herpes simplex virus (type 1) infecting the primary muscle and skin monolayer cells of human embryo. The numbers of plaques formed in the two varieties of viral diluted solutions(e.g., Hanks solution containing 2% fetal bovine serum and/or 199 solution)are parellel to each other.
