基于猫杯状病毒VP1的mRNA疫苗保护猫免受FCV攻击

  • 猫杯状病毒(FCV)是引发猫呼吸道疾病的主要病原体之一。近年来,部分FCV毒株已进化为强毒系统性猫杯状病毒,可引发全身性疾病并导致猫的死亡率升高。鉴于FCV具有高度的变异性和抗原多样性,开发新型疫苗至关重要。本研究开发了一种表达优化FCV-VP1蛋白的mRNA疫苗,在猫体内进行的试验证实,该疫苗能够激发针对高致病性毒株的强烈FCV特异性免疫应答。研究结果表明,这种mRNA疫苗是预防FCV感染的一个极具前景的候选疫苗,为FCV防控提供了一种新颖、快速、有效且安全的策略。
