近年来噬菌体研究及应用的几个侧面

摘要

近年来由于基因工程的兴起,使噬菌体在分子遗传学方面得到广泛的应用。环境科学的发展使人们不仅认识到噬菌体是自然环境中一类很重要的净化因子,而且也认识到许多噬菌体与肠道病毒在理化特性、分布等方面存在相关性,故被用来作为指示者、追踪者,其存在量可充当特定环境的污染指数。医学科学的发展使人们发现许多具有强烈的毒性作用的细菌毒素是由前噬菌体(prophage)DNA编码,而可采取新的治疗措施。
